Here’s some real talk about smoothies. Making a smoothie fresh everyday can be a bit of a drag. Getting out the ingredients, dirtying the blender, and then cleaning up the mess can be a cumbersome task if you’re trying to get out the door at a decent hour. For most of us, going through this task each day is laughable. Who has time for all that?
It doesn’t matter what it is, if it feels hard, you’re not going to do it. Period.
Getting real food into your body is key when you’re embracing the idea that your life can go from being all about the mundane tasks of life to feeling empowered, energized, and excited about your life. True Fact: if you eat like crap, you’re going to feel like crap. If you feel like crap, you’re not going to be motivated or be in the mindset to pull yourself up from your boot straps and take charge of your life.
So what do smoothies have to do with all this? Smoothies are quick meals that can pack a nutritional punch if made right. (Here’s my perfect smoothie formula.) Extra bonuses- they can be prepped and made ahead.

I’ve also included a bonus smoothie recipe. It’s inspired by my favorite childhood ice cream flavor, mint chocolate chip.
- ½ cup Full-Fat Coconut Milk
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- ½ frozen banana
- ½ cup frozen cauliflower
- 1 cup spinach
- 1-2 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
- 1-2 Tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1 Tablespoon cacao nibs
- 4-5 mint leaves
- 1 scoop Primal Kitchen Chocolate Coconut Collagen
- 1 scoop Collagen Peptides
- Put your liquid into the blender. Add in the frozen banana, cauliflower, and spinach.
- Add the rest of the ingredients into the blender.
- Blend until smooth.
